· Taking instructions from you in order to provide initial assessment, advice on key requirements and how these apply to your circumstances and what other options may be available to you.

· Meeting with you through your preferred means (face-to-face, email, telephone, video call), taking your instructions and providing clear advice;

· Advising on the requirements of the Immigration Act, Immigration Rules/ Nationality law and whether you meet the criteria;

· Taking into account on the supporting evidence you have provided and suggesting additional supporting documents; If you do not fulfil certain criteria, whether and how this can be overcome;

· Contacting third parties to obtain additional evidence when required.

· Preparing and submitting the relevant application forms on your behalf and booking any necessary appointments.

· Drafting a comprehensive covering letter in support of your application.

· Advising on the application submission options and procedures, and likely timeframes.

· Advising you on the outcome of the application and explaining your new immigration or nationality status, including information about how to remain compliant with your visa conditions and the eligibility criteria for extensions and indefinite leave to remain.

Our fees

Our fees are based on the time spent on your circumstances and the experience of the person instructed. We will provide an estimate of the costs wherever possible. If an estimate cannot be made, we will suggest an estimate based on our experience with similar work. Fees are exclusive of VAT and disbursements.

Pricing rates for our solicitors

Examples of our current rates are:

· Senior Director - £450 per hour plus VAT.

· Director - £350 per hour plus VAT.

· Solicitor - £280-350 per hour plus VAT.

· Trainee Solicitor - £180 per hour plus VAT.

· Paralegal - £200 plus VAT.

Disbursements  

Our costs do not include any disbursements related to your matter. The main disbursements we anticipate will be the government application fees and charges (including, for some applications a government-imposed NHS Surcharge). These charges vary depending on the application you are making and the processing times.

Other disbursement costs are costs related to your matter are payable to third parties. These costs often include, but not limited to, the cost of Counsel fees, Court fees, consultant fees, application fees, Home Office fees, expedited processing fees, search fees, filing fees, courier fees, charges for substantial photocopying (such as preparing trial bundles), travel charges, bank charges, translation fees and other out of pocket expenses.

Value Added Tax  

Depending on your circumstance, disbursement and the final bill could be plus VAT. VAT is currently set at 20%.

How long will this take?

The processing times for your application will vary depending on the application service you select and where the application is being made. We cannot guarantee how long the Home Office will take to process your application but we can give further information on likely time frames as part of the advice to you.

On average, immigration applications usually take between 3 to 6 weeks to prepare for submission. If necessary, we will expedite preparation times to meet pre-determined expiry dates. The length of time in processing the application is dependent on the government. We will refer to our external consultant for any timeframes and updates.
